I started this blog just over a year ago to share my experience buying my first house. I found that there was no information out there that was conclusive enough to help get through the process.
Since then I’ve really progressed my blog to be more focused on health and wellness, but I do like to share my DIY and reno projects still! We are really working hard to get our house to become our home and updating the rooms is so much fun.
Since buying my house, I’ve also ventured into the world of DIY, gardening, nutrition and wellness. When I finally complete these giant DIY projects, I love to share them online showing the before and after pictures. I am a first time gardener but won’t be able to share my garden with the world since it is a pretty sad looking place at the moment! I definitely cannot wait for the summer to return. I have huge dreams for my garden and love the idea that we will soon be able to eat organic vegetables straight from our own yard!
I am also a nutrition student – I realized I have a passion for healthy eating and living so I want to gain further knowledge to share with everyone. Through my reading I have learned a lot of ways to use nutrition to take back my health and I want to be able to help others as well. I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism in 2006 and never though much of it, that it was a simple pill to take every morning. Since learning more about nutrition I realized that I can take my health into my own hands and I am starting the journey to heal my body, one day at a time. As I go through this journey, I hope and strive to soon be able to also start helping others. In the mean time, I love to share information on different nutritional foods, great ways to start working towards better health and wellness, and from time to time, I post healthy recipes! I love any type of recipe that tastes great and replaces my guilty pleasures, without the guilt.
Thanks for vising and I hope you enjoy your time on my blog!
